To be a poet

Poetry vines crawling

along veins entangling limbs

Format bones ideas flash

behind eyes sparks to light the room

Singing electric phrases ripping along neurones

like motorcycles X-rays highlight art

etched into spinal column

Authors’ note: The Poet Robert Vella wrote this poem for me.
